Centaur Archer, up close and personal
As always, you can click on the pictures to make them larger. But I doubt my painting can stand up to that kind of scrutiny. This is the model I'm going to enter into the painting competition.
Comments are certainly welcome.

Wow,
I zoomed in on all the pics and they stand up to it very well. That has to be the most natural looking horse body I've ever seen.
I'm still working on Dwarves so I won't get to try your technique for a while, but I'm copying your earlier post for posterity's sake, hopefully my son inherits his mother's talent and will enjoy painting. ;)
Again, very nice Ben. I think I am finally starting to see what some book I read meant about "warm" colors. Everything you've posted here seems like it's been reds and browns, is that a color preference, or is it true that they are "warm" and easier to make look SO good?
Thanks a ton Ben. I don't know if it is easier or not, they just seem to be more natural. I've tried working with blues and greens before, and have made them look ok. But Red seems to work better.
This is also a Khorne army, so red seemed the more natural way to go.
Thanks again.
