History Will Be Made!!
This coming January either a Black man will be sworn in as President or a Woman will be sworn in as Vice President!!
I have been fairly luke warm on McCain up till now. His policies on immigration, gun control, global warming and several other issues had me back peddling and wondering how the hell he ever got the Republican nomination.
Then Obamasiah gives his acceptance speech, all the media hailed him and were ready to have the coronation next week.
Then McCain drops this bombshell and goes and names Palin, the governor of Alaska, and a woman his VP choice. WOW!! is all I have to say.
She is a staunch no BS conservative. She does have a thing for global warming, but isn't a spend a Trillion dollars to do nothing kind, including threatening to sue W for naming polar bears endangered.
She is a former runner up to Miss Alaska, is a lifetime NRA member, hunts, fishes, loves outdoor sports, has 5 kids, and is everything McCain is not.
This was a Fantastic choice and the timing couldn't have been better. I can't wait for the debates now. I think McCain can hammer Obama, as long as he doesn't get the questions ahead of time. And I got the feeling Palin is going to destroy Biden. She is supposed to be good. REAL GOOD!!
Finally, something to get excited about with the Republican ticket.

I was very happy to see this announcement today. Reading up on Palin has been interesting, but not scary in the least.
you seriously don't understand who your electing. both of these people are horrible candidates. both are in favor of the police state that is now being built to protect you from the "evil doers". it a joke that you would vote for a candidate simply because he is a republican, democrat, black, or a women. people like you would vote for osama bin laden if he ran republican simply because he's a republican (go team). your nothing more than a cheerleader. whats even worst is that your a cheerleader that doesn't understand the game your cheering at. if you want to know whats really going on and not live in denial anymore visit www.infowars.com
@Marcus. Interesting post. considering I even said I wasn't excited about McCain, and I think the guy is too liberal in several areas. I just don't see how I'm a cheerleader for anyone.
As for Palin, I think she is an excellent choice, who stands up to corruption and cleans up government. I'll love to see her as VP.
No my biggest statements have been anti-Obama. This is the guy who tries to bully people, radio station and TV-stations when people try to say anything bad about him. He is the same old politics of Chicago.
he has ties to a terrorist organization. Its clear and his wife, hate the US and want to "fix" it.
By fixing, they mean, disarm, give global health care, open up our borders for anyone to come in, tax and spend until we are in the proverbial gutter.
This guy is just LAZY. He has done nothing, and I mean nothing since he has been in government. He gives a good speech. His charismatic. But name one thing in his bag.
He has a big old bag of NOTHING!!
He has 0, ZERO, Bills where he was the author or major sponsor that was passed. His voting record is the MOST liberal EVER!!
He has never once, tried to reach across the aisle to accomplish anything.
So I'm not voting for McCain because he is a republican. I'm voting against Obama-hope-change because he is a LIBERAL!!

By reading your post it sounds like your a republican (which is not a bad thing). The title of your post is "history will be made!!!" like something of grate significance is about to take place. I'm sorry if i don't share your enthusiasm about a corrupt black man or a women becoming the first of anything. if you haven't figured out that our president runs nothing then you'll probably never wake up to the true reality of out political system. Both of the major candidate from the republican and democratic parties openly shred our constitution and bill of rights. They don't care about you! If you want some true insight into American politics read a book called "tragedy and hope" by Carroll Quigley. This man was a professor at Georgetown university and mentor to Bill Clinton. If you know everything on that website then you are either in denial or your the bravest person I've heard of. Oh and before i forget, your attempts to demonize me are not going to work. I called it right, you are a cheerleader because you continue to support this two (one) party system. I don't care that the first black man might become president because i understand that he is a puppet and controls nothing! I don't care that the first women might become vice-president because i know that VP's control nothing! WAKE UP AMERICA!

Ben i think your post on warhammer are great and that really what i come to read but i just can't take the politics in our country anymore. I'm tired of not being represented by the people we elect. sorry about blowing up on you like that.
Marcus, it happens. I am a republican. I make not issue in hiding it. Or maybe I should say I'm a conservative.
Lower taxes, less government.
We put the republicans in power and they blew it. BLEW IT!! I was so pissed. I was ready to sit this one out, but just watching how badly the Pelosi/Reid band have screwed things up in the last 2 years, I cannot imagine a nObama/Pelosi/Reid government.
We will go down a path that I fear we will never be able to recover from.
Each person has their own beliefs. Thats what makes blogs so great.
