Labor Day weekend

I hope everyone had a great labor day weekend. We actually got rain down in Dallas and my new lawn is loving it. The house is finally starting to look like a home and not a UPS shipping dock.

But what made the weekend really great is I got a chance to paint again for the fist time in almost 6 months. I sat down with a Rat Ogre and got him painted. I think he looks great. Was really trying to blend the paints and I think he came out looking pretty good. As the army progresses I'll post some pics of the army.

But trying to catch up with some old business, here are some pics of the awards that were given out at the Lone Wolf GT 2 weeks ago.


This picture shows all the plaques and awards that went to the winners. As you can see there was actual hardware for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, not just a certificate. And yes that was a copy of "Battle for Skull Pass" that went to the Lucky Bryan Chen.


Here is a closeup of the Best Overall trophy. Very nice with the Logo of the Lone wolf against the Dallas Skyline.


And finally the painting trophies. Some very nice trophies and models. The one in the back is a paintbrush (no matter what else you think it might be) with the full set of Reaper Master Series Paints. I think that went to Players choice.

Overall some outstanding awards.
